Great for Walleye: Super Action Spoons
The Slender Spoon is a bent ultralight spoon offering incredible action and flashy attraction. It comes complete with a size 1 or 2 snap, which promotes fluid movement.
Ice Fishing
When you first begin to ice fish you are searching for active fish. This is when a jigging spoon shines. The Slender Spoon is nice and thin and really provides more action than any other jigging spoon you’ve ever tried. Use the small 1/16-ounce Slender Spoon for panfish with three or four spikes on the treble hook or replace the hook with a single hook or a size 10 Shrimpo. Slight jigging or rapid jig and pause methods are top producers.
Open Water
When after gamefish like walleye, use the larger 1/8-ounce, 1/4-ounce and the super heavyweight 5/16-ounce (which is a heavier spoon of the same length as the 1/8-ounce). A minnow head or perch eye is a great bait for walleye and perch and this size will catch both fish from the same school!
